During my freshman year, I took a First-Year Research Experience (FYRE), Methods of Design Inquiry (MODI). This course introduced me to design research and critical thinking. I learned how to evaluate projects, explore ideas, and present design solutions. For my project, I combined my passion for pottery with design elements like Gestalt principles, hands-on materials, and Riso printing, and presented it at the SASH showcase.
